Forskjell på mikrofon
Hver er forskjellen på Beta 58 og beta 58 A?
Snakka med en tekniker som sa at Beta 58 var best for mannlig vokal og sm 58 var best for kvinnelig. Ett par dager etterpå traff jeg på en annen som sa det stikk motsatte..

sm58 cardioide og b58a en supercardioide... ulike frekvensresponser... kanskje litt viktigere enn vekt???
edit: Beklager en "liten", men vesentlig trykkfeil fra min side. Jeg sammenlignet de som var listet opp, sm58 vs b58a. Men kom i skade for å skrive b58 i stedet for sm58...

Bare så det er sagt: Beta 58 og Beta58A er begge supercarioider. Gode gamle SM58 derimot, er en cardioide.Torodd Olsen skrev:b58 cardioide og b58a en supercardioide... ulike frekvensresponser... kanskje litt viktigere enn vekt???
De tekniske spesifikasjonene Kenneth har gjengitt litt lenger opp på siden gjelder så vidt jeg kan se også SM58 vs. Beta58A.
Forøvrig fant jeg dette hos http://www.shure.com:
"Originally the Beta 58 was available as the the Beta 58C (chrome grill) or the Beta 58M (matte grill). The Beta 58C was eventually discontinued and the Beta 58M became just the Beta 58. The Beta 58 was then discontinued and replaced by the Beta 58A." ... "The Beta 58A has a completely new cartridge in it. While the new cartridge is meant to mimic the old cartridge as far as polar pattern, output level, and frequency response goes, it is a different cartridge and will sound slightly different. Two major differences are that we removed the hum bucking coil on the new model and added an output transformer."
